Seasons
There are 3 main seasons in Thailand:
1. The winter season : November, December, January and February.
2. The summer season : March and April.
3. The wet season : May, June, July, August, September and October.

THE WINTER SEASON (November to March)
Chumphon: Cool pleasant weather, first half of November occasional rain showers of short duration, strong trade winds. Temperature at night around 20 degrees celsius or a little cooler, daytime 24 to 28 degrees celsius.
Activities: Kitesurfing school, surfing school, kayaking trips, jungle walks. Due to the strong trade winds that blow at this time of the year in this area the sea can be quite rough, our kayaking trips take place in sheltered areas which are not affected by the wind and waves, diving can be done at the outlying islands on calm days. WE ARE IN CHUMPHON IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER.
Phuket: Beautiful sunny weather with cool trade winds blowing, temperature at night around 23 degrees celsius, daytime 30 or 32 degrees celsius.
Activities: Kitesurfing school, diving ,kayaking trips and jungle walks. WE ARE IN PHUKET IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY AND FROM MAY TO OCTOBER.
THE SUMMER SEASON (March and April)
Hua Hin: The hottest time of the year with daily thermal winds resulting from the heating of the land. Temperature at night around 28 or 30 degrees celsius, daytime 36 degrees celsius or a few degrees higher.
Activities: Kitesurfing school. WE ARE IN HUA HIN IN MARCH AND APRIL.
THE WET SEASON (May to November)
Phuket: May and September and first half of October the wettest period. June, July and August generally fine weather with an occasional shower. At night around 28 degrees celsius, daytime 32 or 34 degrees celsius. Good swells for surfing roll in from the Indian ocean. July and August windy.
Activities: Surfing school, kitesurfing school, diving, kayaking trips, jungle walks. Kayaking trips take place in sheltered areas which are not affected by the waves and wind, diving trips are done in sheltered areas too. WE ARE IN PHUKET IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY AND FROM MAY TO OCTOBER.
