Phuket Kayaking Trips
A DAY IN THE NATIONAL PARK.
Combine kayaking with snorkeling and a jungle walk.

Features: National park, beautiful coastline, smooth boulder formations with in between small deserted beaches lying alongside a lagoon with crystal clear water, brilliant reefs, small island, great for snorkelling, a jungle walk in a primary jungle.
 Duration: A full day trip.
Price: 2,400 baht per person.
Includes: Transportation from hotel and back, snorkeling equipment, snacks, fruit and non alcoholic beverages, a meal.
Things to bring: sun block, a hat, sunglasses, towel, a change of clothing, shoes that can go into the water.
OUR TRIP
We set off from a beach and head for the national park which is just around the corner. As we round the headland we encounter a small very picturesque island which lies only about 200 metres offshore. Several trees grow between the island and the shore, this is the home of a bunch of pacific reef egrets, large elegant looking black birds. We paddle between the gap and suddenly find ourselves in a very beautiful lagoon, the water is crystal clear and we can see the coral formations beneath us, around us schools of fish dart away as we approach.
 The lagoon extends down the coast, alongside it lie numerous small idylic beaches in between smooth boulder rock formations backed by mountains covered with lush tropical jungle, it's like something out of a Robinson Crusoe movie.
Our kayaks glide across the very smooth green water, we head towards the edge of the lagoon which is only a short way from shore, from our kayaks we can view the coral gardens beneath us, the water is so clear that we can see many of the tropical fish too.
Our destination is a small beach with white powdery sand, this beach has some of the best coral reefs in the area, it has been protected by it's national park status and it's reefs are teeming with colourful tropical fish. Here our guests can snorkel, swim or just relax whilst enjoying some snacks, fruit or drinks.
 This very same beach just so happens to be the departure point for our jungle trip, from here a small path winds it's way through a primary rainforest giving us the opportunity to see it's huge variety of beautiful vegetation, tall trees and it's many tropical birds, we pass several streams.
Our jungle walk is optional so if our guests prefer to relax on the beach or snorkel instead, then that's fine too. We adapt each of our trips to our guests preferences.
At the end of our trip a very nice meal of your choice awaits you at a very good Thai restaurant located on the beach with a view of the whole bay.
OUR TRIPS ARE EASY AND RELAXING, they are about enjoying nature and the many beautiful sights along the way at your own leisurely pace, we customise each of our trips to suit your needs.
Experienced kayakers are of course welcome too, we can make our kayaking trips longer or shorter at your request.
We keep our groups extremely small so as to make your kayaking adventure a more personal experience for you.

It was everything you can imagine a tropical paradise to be, a small island by a beautiful lagoon, small deserted beaches along the coast with lots of jungle coming down, lots of interesting boulder formations and right next to a beach beautiful coral reefs full with tropical fish, we also got to see what the inside of a jungle looks like with so many tall trees and plants, it was a great trip full of variety and the food was excellent too. |
